Sales Policy
Last updated: April 6, 2026
⚠ The Short Version
All sales are final. Items are sold as-is, as-described. Sellers must honestly describe their items. Buyers purchase based on photos and descriptions provided. No returns for buyer's remorse.
1. All Sales Are Final
When you purchase a bundle on Clean Sweep, the sale is final. We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for:
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- Items that don't fit as expected
- Style preferences ("not my taste")
- Minor wear consistent with the listed condition (e.g., light pilling on a "good" condition item)
Bundles are secondhand clothing sold at significant discounts. The pricing reflects pre-owned condition. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept this.
2. Sold As-Is, As-Described
Every item on Clean Sweep is sold based on the photos and descriptions provided by the seller and our AI analysis.
What "as-described" means
- Photos are part of the description. What you see in the listing photos is what you get. Sellers are expected to photograph items accurately.
- AI condition ratings are estimates. Our AI assesses brand, category, and condition based on photos. These are best-effort estimates, not guarantees.
- Sellers must disclose known flaws. Major damage, stains, tears, missing buttons, or other significant defects must be visible in photos or noted in the description.
What sellers are responsible for
- Providing clear, accurate photos of all items in the bundle
- Disclosing any known flaws, damage, or defects
- Shipping the exact items shown in the listing
- Packaging items safely to prevent shipping damage
3. When You Can File a Dispute
While all sales are final, buyers have recourse if an item is materially misrepresented. This means:
- Wrong item shipped. You received items that don't match the listing photos at all.
- Major undisclosed damage. Significant flaws (large tears, holes, stains, or odors) that weren't visible in photos or disclosed by the seller.
- Missing items. The bundle arrived with fewer items than listed.
- Counterfeit goods. An item was listed as a specific brand but is clearly counterfeit.
Normal secondhand wear — light fading, minor pilling, small wrinkles — is expected and does not qualify as misrepresentation.
4. How to File a Dispute
If you believe your bundle was materially misrepresented, you must act quickly:
- Time limit: 48 hours. Disputes must be filed within 48 hours of delivery confirmation.
- Photo evidence required. You must include clear photos showing the issue — the item received versus what was shown in the listing.
- Email your dispute to clean-sweep@polsia.app with your order details and photo evidence.
What happens next
Clean Sweep reserves the right to mediate all disputes. We will:
- Review the original listing photos and description
- Compare with the buyer's evidence photos
- Make a fair determination within 5 business days
- Issue a partial or full refund if the claim is valid, or deny the claim with an explanation
Disputes filed after 48 hours or without photo evidence will not be considered. Keep your delivery packaging until the dispute window closes.
5. Seller Accountability
We hold sellers to honest listing standards. Sellers who repeatedly misrepresent items may face:
- Removal of their listings from the marketplace
- Withholding of payout for disputed bundles
- Permanent ban from selling on Clean Sweep
Our goal is a trustworthy marketplace. Honest sellers are protected from scam returns. Dishonest sellers are held accountable.
6. Pricing & AI Estimates
Bundle prices are calculated by our AI based on brand detection, condition assessment, and resale market data. These are estimates — not appraisals.
- Bundle price represents a bulk discount (typically 35% off individual item values)
- Individual item values shown are AI estimates for reference only
- Actual resale value may vary based on local market, season, and demand
